Richard Westlake formed Westlake Consulting in 1999 on leaving Westpac Trust as its South Island General Manager.
Richard is an Accredited Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management.
Richard is currently Chair of:
- The Standards Council of New Zealand
- Better Border Biosecurity (a nine-party research collaboration, trading as ‘B3’); and
- The Audit and Risk Committee of Kiwibank Limited (of which he is also a founding Director).
He is Deputy Chair of:
- Wellington Water Management Limited.

Senior Consultant Vaughan Renner, MBA |
Vaughan is a member of the Institute of Directors and has had an executive career of senior leadership and general management positions spanning twenty years.
He currently represents Business New Zealand on the boards of:
- Weltec (Wellington Institute of Technology); and
- The Standards Council of New Zealand.
He is also a board member of:
- Employers and Manufacturers Association (Central)
- Holmes Consulting Group Limited ( structural and civil engineers); and
- New Zealand Army Support Management Board.

Senior Consultant Colin Jackson, MA |
Colin is a strategic technology consultant with over twenty years' experience as an IT practitioner in both the public and private sector.
A founder of InternetNZ, Colin is also a past president of this not-for-profit body that runs New Zealand's Internet domain name system.
Colin’s ability to translate technology issues for a general audience makes him a sought-after presenter - he is currently the regular technology commentator on Radio New Zealand's Nine to Noon programme.
